ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND FREELANCE IN THE AGE OF AI
AI arrived and humanity lost its head. Fear and total surrender open the door for dystopia to take over. But fear and surrender don't plant seeds for progress and liberation. Revolution does. It means change and renewal. And what we are going through right now is a major technological revolution, affecting all the aspects of society.
Most people are creatures of habit; they don't welcome change. While those who do it right away are the fools finding joy and hope in the change of kings. So, is it really AI what humanity fears? Or is it the technological revolution itself, who's behind it, their intentions, and the unknown?
History proves that humanity always perceived change on a large scale as apocalyptic. That's what the noise is all about. But the quiet ones going on with their lives through it all and doing the same things proven to work for thousands of years are not in the history books. And without them, we wouldn't be here today. Because they adapted. They chose the beneficial part of the renewal as a chance to better their lives, without giving up on the values that stood the test of time.
The only way to survive this wave is to remain true to yourself and continue to run your business according to your values, your own mind, and what works for you. AI is not your enemy, your mindset is. When you choose greed over your legacy and making the world a better place for all, you're in deep trouble. The speed of AI may be a trump card, but it may also be a trap.
It's not about unplugging but about balance; understanding your human limits and setting boundaries when technology and outside pressure feel draining. All tools are useful, but when you work for yourself, you do it for your own wellbeing. Creativity can't function without it. That's where quality resides. Quality is what beats the market. When you fall into the trap of automation, AI, algorithm, and middlemen, and rely on them heavily, you switch from quality to quantity. You lose yourself - what made your work unique and desirable in the first place. Although it may look profitable for a while, it's also the beginning of your downfall.
You choose self-employment because you want to be free. If an employer isn't good for you, why would you take technology and middlemen as your new masters?
