MY IDEA OF LEADERSHIP, TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT
This will ruffle a lot of feathers.
There are people with calling in a field and people who are in that specific field just for the perks, or because the business landed on their lap through their lineage.
I will only support those with a real calling. I'm not going to support you if you come to me through nepotism and favoritism, or just because you're around me pretending to make yourself useful, you're early and leave late pretending to work, when in essence, you're there to network, gossip and undermine those who really belong,
I'm not going to promote you or give you a raise if you don't have the calling. I will kindly advise you to find your own and stop chasing positions you don't deserve. If you made it to the top through these methods and got where you wanted, I'm not going to raise you a statue. I will always see you as the one who once carried the boss's suitcase, because that's who and what you are.
And shame on those who enabled you. They must have been too stupid and weak.
I will only surround myself with and give credit to genuine people.
